That’s no moon – it’s the best Honkai: Star Rail Himeko build, giving you a weapon that makes the Death Star look like child’s play. Himeko follows the Path of The Erudition and uses the Fire Damage Type in combat, making her well-suited to clear waves of enemies with area-of-effect attacks.

Her Skill, Molten Detonation, is a simple attack against up to three adjacent targets with damage being based on her Attack.

Himeko’s Ultimate, Heavenly Flare, uses the Astral Express’ main cannon for an orbital strike, dealing Fire Damage based on Himeko’s Attack to all enemies. Himeko regenerates ten Energy for each adversary killed in this strike.

Himeko is the closest thing the Astral Express crew has to a leader / HoYoverse

That’s not all for her kit, though. She comes with a very useful Talent called Victory Rush, which launches a follow-up attack against all enemies for every three Weakness Breaks inflicted on an opponent.

Himeko’s Eidolon Levels, which increase if you pull duplicates of her, are useful additions as well, buffing Victory Rush, her general damage output against low HP targets, and her Ultimate.

Honkai: Star Rail – Himeko: best Light Cones

There is a signature Light Cone for Himeko in the game, which is named Night on the Milky Way and is the perfect choice as her equipment. It buffs the wearer’s Attack based on the amount of enemies on the field, the effect stacking up to five times. In addition, any Weakness Break nets the wearer a general Damage buff for one turn.

Since Himeko wants to be on a team with lots Weakness Break potential anyways, as that’s how her Victory Rush triggers, and is specialized in taking down masses of enemies, this Light Cone synergizes well with her kit.

Best Light Cones for Himeko:

  • Night on the Milky Way (5-Star)
  • Before Dawn (5-Star)
  • The Birth of the Self (4-Star)
  • Today is Another Peaceful Day (4-Star)
  • Data Bank (3-Star)
That's a way of fighting I could get behind / HoYoverse

It’s all about the offense for Himeko, so you want more damage stats like Attack and Critical Hit Damage on your Relics. Break Effect % is another important one, since this will allow Himeko to generate more charges for Victory Rush.

Best Relic Sets for Himeko:

  • The Ashblazing Grand Duke (4) – +20% follow-up attack damage, +6% Attack each time the wearer uses a follow-up attack to deal damage. This effect lasts three turns and can stack up to eight times. It's removed the next time the wearer uses a follow-up attack.
  • Firesmith of Lava-Forging (4) – +10% Fire Damage, +12% Skill Damage, and +12% Fire Damage for the next attack after activating the Ultimate.

Honkai: Star Rail – Himeko: best teams

Himeko excels at defeating waves of weaker opponents thanks to having three different area-of-effect attacks.

All the components of this team are focused on maximizing the damage Himeko can cause: Bronya increases her Attack stat and allows her to get a turn quicker, possibly inflicting some more Weakness Breaks to trigger Victory Rush, while Pela lowers the enemies’ Defense to make Himeko’s attacks more effective. Bailu is once again the healer of choice thanks to her additional benefits, but Natasha or Luocha will do a great job as well. Combining Herta and Himeko will give you the ultimate wave-clearing team.

Tingyun is a possible replacement for Bronya, while Natasha, Lynx, Luocha, or Huohuo are always there to step in for Bailu.
