Honkai: Star Rail – Silver Wolf build and ascension guide
Contents
Become the greatest of hackers with the best Honkai: Star Rail Silver Wolf build allowing you to modify the fabric of reality itself and making life into the most fun game there is. Silver Wolf is a member of the Stellaron Hunters and follows the Path of Nihility, dealing Quantum Damage with her attacks.
Silver Wolf’s Skill, Allow Changes?, deals Quantum Damage based on her Attack attribute to the target and has a chance to implant a Weakness against a random ally’s Damage Type into that enemy as well as lower their resistance against that Damage Type for two turns. This is a useful ability to have and is especially effective if Silver Wolf is part of a team with only one Damage Type, since you can guarantee this way that a useful Weakness will be implanted.
Her Ultimate, User Banned, dishes out a large amount of Quantum Damage and has a chance to decrease the enemy’s Defense for three turns.
All of these abilities as well as her Normal Attack make use of her Talent, which is called Awaiting System Response. This gives her the chance to implant one of three Bugs into the enemy with an attack – the Bugs reduce the Attack, Defense, or Speed of the target and last three turns.
Silver Wolf’s Eidolon Levels, which you can obtain by pulling additional copies of her, mainly focus on boosting her damage output depending on how many debuffs are already affecting the target. Zombie Network, which is unlocked with Eidolon Level 2, is especially useful in this regard as it straight-up lowers the Effect Resistance of all enemies by 20% when Silver Wolf is present, which in turn boosts your chances of getting those debuffs to stick.
Honkai: Star Rail – Silver Wolf: best Light Cones
Silver Wolf’s best Light Cone is the one coming into the game alongside her on the 1.1 banners, a weapon called Incessant Rain. It increases the wearer's Effect Hit Rate by 24%. When they deal damage to an enemy with three or more debuffs, Critical Hit Rate is boosted by 12%. After the wearer uses their Basic Attack, Skill, or Ultimate, there is a 100% base chance to implant Aether Code on a random target that does not have it yet. Targets affected by Aether Code receive 12% increased damage for one turn.
You can see why this is Silver Wolf’s signature Light Cone – it increases the chance of her debuffs hitting, provides yet another type of debuff that can affect enemies, and boosts her damage against targets that already have lots of negative effects on them.

Honkai: Star Rail – Silver Wolf: best teams
Silver Wolf is a fantastic addition to many compositions, but shines most in teams using a lot of debuffs or the same Damage Type. Here are some examples of teams making the most of her:
Everyone on the team aside from Silver Wolf deals Lightning Damage, which means that her Skill will implant that Weakness on enemies, in turn enabling everyone to attack them effectively. Everyone else is following their usual roles: Jing Yuan dishes out damage, Tingyun boosts his offensive prowess, and Bailu keeps everyone going.
A Mono-Quantum team with Silver Wolf is fun as well as effective.
Silver Wolf is probably the most flexible character in the game thanks to her ability to inflict Weakness Types. Any team can make use of her.
