Honkai: Star Rail – Tingyun build and ascension guide
Contents
Bring out the strongest performances from your allies with the best Honkai: Star Rail Tingyun build. This silver-tongued Foxian girl follows the Path of the Harmony and dishes out Lightning Damage, though her main strength is to buff up other members of her party – and it’s these boosts that make her one of the most valuable characters in the game.
Tingyun’s Skill, Soothing Melody, grants one ally an Attack buff and applies Benediction to them for three turns. Allies affected by Benediction add Lightning Damage based on their own Attack to any offensive moves they make. They will also make a follow-up attack against any enemy targeted by Tingyun, dealing Lightning Damage.
Her Ultimate, Amidst the Rejoicing Clouds, provides an allied character with 50 Energy, charging up their Ultimate, and increases their damage for three turns. This combination of abilities allows Tingyun to be an amazing offensive support character.
Tingyun’s Eidolon levels, which are gained after pulling duplicates of her, add even more value to her Skill, enabling to provide additional Speed, Energy Regeneration, and damage. Her sixth and final Eidolon level upgrades her Ultimate, allowing it to regenerate ten additional Energy.
Honkai: Star Rail – Tingyun: best Light Cones
The Path of the Harmony has only access to one 5-Star Light Cone at the moment: The Battle Isn’t Over, the signature gear of Bronya. Tingyun is a perfect wielder for this Light Cone, as she greatly benefits from the additional Energy Regeneration Rate it provides.
The Battle Isn’t Over allows her to restore a Skill Point for the team after activating her Ultimate as well as to buff the next acting ally’s damage after using her Skill.
Best Light Cones for Tingyun:
- The Battle Isn’t Over (5-Star)
- Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds (4-Star)
- Past and Future (4-Star)
- Chorus (3-Star)
