Fight like a true anime protagonist with the best Honkai: Star Rail Trailblazer (Destruction) build – be it Stelle or Caelus, the Trailblazer has something valuable to offer to everyone. As the main character of the adventure, the Trailblazer is – naturally – very special. They are able to change their Damage Type and their Path, which means they can essentially change classes and fill out various positions on a team.

If you’re looking for guides on the other Trailblazer forms, find them below:

Trailblazer (Destruction) is a very straightforward character, as befits their role as your very first damage dealer. Their Skill, RIP Home Run, deals Physical DMG based on their ATK to an enemy and adjacent targets.

Trailblazer (Destruction)’s Ultimate, Stardust Ace, has two different attack modes: It can strike a single target for Physical DMG based on ATK or batter an enemy and adjacent foes for Physical DMG based on ATK.

Honkai: Star Rail – Trailblazer (Destruction): best Light Cones

Trailblazer (Destruction) is all about attacking, so stacking that sweet ATK stat on them is all that matters. The best 5-Star Light Cones for this purpose are On the Fall of an Aeon, Brighter Than the Sun, and Something Irreplaceable, with the first one being the most easily attainable as it is on sale in Herta’s Store.

Best Light Cones for Trailblazer (Destruction):

  • On the Fall of an Aeon (5-Star)
  • Brighter Than the Sun (5-Star)
  • Something Irreplaceable (5-Star)
  • The Moles Welcome You (4-Star)

  • Nowhere to Run (4-Star)
  • Collapsing Sky (3-Star)

Honkai: Star Rail – Trailblazer (Destruction): best Relics

All of Trailblazer (Destruction)’s moves deal Physical DMG and depend on their ATK stat. As mentioned above, this makes ATK the primary attribute to strive for alongside damage dealer staples like CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG. SPD is another important factor to keep an eye on. Finally, Break Effect is a strong filler stat for Trailblazer (Destruction), as they have solid Toughness Reduction.

Best Relic Sets for Trailblazer (Destruction):

  • Champion of Streetwise Boxing (4) – +10% Physical DMG, +5% ATK after the wearer attacks or is hit (can stack up to five times).

Best Planar Ornaments for Trailblazer (Destruction):

  • Rutilant Arena (2) – +8% CRIT Rate, +20% Normal Attack and Skill DMG if CRIT Rate surpasses 70%.

Honkai: Star Rail – Trailblazer (Destruction): best teams

Trailblazer (Destruction) is best accompanied by some Support characters, who are able to both boost their offense and debuff the enemy. You’ll want a shielder or healer in the mix as well.

  • Trailblazer (Destruction) (Main DPS), Tingyun (Support), Pela (Support), Natasha (Support)

This is a team you may be able to form in the early stages of the game, shortly after you started. Trailblazer is the main damage dealer, while Tingyun boosts their offensive power and provides Energy Regeneration. Pela can debuff enemies, shredding their DEF to make Trailblazer deal more damage. Finally, Natasha is a healer you’ll get for free by playing the game. While many representatives of the class are better than her, she can carry you very far.

Asta is another great support for Trailblazer (Destruction) that you get for free by playing.

Honkai: Star Rail – Trailblazer (Destruction): ascension materials

Here’s everything you need to know to get Trailblazer ascended to the maximum level and upgrade all of her talents.

Trailblazer requires the following ascension materials to get to level 80 in addition to the necessary XP, no matter their Path and Damage Type:

  • Credits x246,000
  • Thief’s Instinct x12
  • Usurper’s Scheme x13
  • Conqueror's Will x12
  • Enigmatic Ectostella x28

You can collect Thief’s Instinct, Usurper’s Scheme, and Conqueror's Will from Voidranger Reavers in the Supply and Storage Zones on Herta Space Station as well as the Simulated Universe. You can create or exchange them through the Omni-Synthesizer on the Astral Express, too. Thief’s Instinct is one of the base materials you can easily farm through the Daily Assignments to your characters, making for a steady income of the material.

Enigmatic Ectostella is obtained from mission and level rewards and is unique to the Trailblazer. The best source of Credits are the Golden Calyxes found on Jarilo-VI, the Xianzhou Luofu, and Penacony. Note that leveling up Trailblazer (Destruction) also counts for their other forms – you only need to do this once.

Trailblazer (Destruction) requires the following materials to upgrade her combat abilities and Traces:

  • Credits x2,400,000
  • Thief’s Instinct x28
  • Usurper’s Scheme x42
  • Conqueror's Will x42
  • Shattered Blade x12
  • Lifeless Blade x54
  • Worldbreaker Blade x105
  • Destroyer’s Final Road x12
  • Tracks of Destiny x8

For the materials already mentioned, check above. Blades can be farmed in the Crimson Calyx (Storage Zone). As usual, you can create the high-level materials by using lower-level materials in the Omni-Synthesizer on the Astral Express.

Destroyer’s Final Road is a boss material only gained from the Echo of War (Supply Zone) domain, while Tracks of Destiny can be obtained during time-limited events, the Embers Exchange, the Nameless Honor, or as a Simulated Universe Points Reward.

Note that the other forms of Trailblazer have unique Traces and abilities, which need to be upgraded separately, so this second list of materials will look different for all of them.
