Once you’ve headed out to the Dry Valley and got all the resources you can from it, you’ll have to start looking elsewhere for the next tier of equipment in LEGO Fortnite. After starting off with Gravel, then moving onto Marble and Obsidian, you’ll have to move on up once more to start gathering Malachite.

This Epic-tier of stone isn’t easy to come by, so we’ll explain where to get it.

LEGO Fortnite Malachite
Malachite is easy to spot once you know what you're looking for in LEGO Fortnite / Epic Games via Perfect Score

Malachite is only found in the Frostlands biome. This place is full of frigid lands and high mountains that you can’t easily climb. Check out our guide on how to survive the cold in LEGO Fortnite to keep yourself alive out there, and make sure you bring plenty of wood too, so you can make stairs to climb the mountains.

Up on these mountains, you’ll start to spot nodes of dark green ore, that’s the Malachite you’re looking for. You’ll need an Epic Pickaxe to craft it though, which is made with Obsidian Slabs and Frostpine Rods. Once you’ve obtained it, you can process it into slabs like any other type of stone.
