Your tools in LEGO Fortnite can run down their durability pretty quickly, especially on the lower tiers. Thankfully they’re not too expensive to craft, but it can still be a pain if you’re out gathering resources and suddenly your tool breaks unexpectedly. Naturally, it’s led people to ask if there’s any way to repair tools when they reach the end of their rope.

Up until now, it was possible to use a glitch to repair them that involved placing your items in a chest and then breaking the chest. Unfortunately, that glitch now seems to have been patched, so you can no longer use it to keep your tools running, and people are now searching for another way to keep your tools alive.

It means for now you’re going to have to put up with your tools breaking, or at least enchant them with Durability buffs to keep them going for longer – here’s our guide on how to enchant tools in LEGO Fortnite if you want to know more.
