LEGO Fortnite has a few different biomes with different temperatures. Being too hot or too cold is a problem, as not only does it make you move slower, but extreme temperatures could start to damage you over time as well. We already have a guide on how to survive the heat in LEGO Fortnite if you need to know about that, but here we’re focusing on the cold.

We’ll explain how to resist the cold if you want to go exploring the Frostlands biome.

A campire is just one way to keep warm in LEGO Fortnite / Epic Games

At the most basic level, you can stand next to a campfire or hold a torch. These will keep you warm at night and when it rains, but they won’t help you when you’re out in the snow.

For that, you first need to head over to the desert or Dry Valley and pick up Spicy Peppers. Eating one of these will give you two minutes of cold resistance, but cooking them into a dish has the potential to increase the length of this buff. There is also the possibility that treasure chests or loot llamas can give you Spicy Peppers or the seeds to grow them, so make sure you keep an eye out.
