The Lies of P Cryptic Vessels are found through various means. However, once you obtain one, you can talk to Venigni in Hotel Krat. He’ll then decipher this item, and you’ll be given a photograph. The photo shows a general location, as well as a clue. Once you arrive at the correct location, you’ll discover a chest. The rewards tend to include new costumes and additional Legion Calibers.

As an aside, we suggest obtaining the Frozen Feast boss weapon after you defeat Champion Victor in the Grand Exhibition zone. This weapon is a key requirement for the last Cryptic Vessel. Without it, you’ll have no choice but to retry during your New Game Plus run.

Secret location and reward #5

Surprisingly enough, the Lies of P Cryptic Vessel from Alidoro doesn’t lead to a secret location. Instead, if you ask Venigni to decipher it, you’ll simply read a letter from Alidoro addressed to Eugenie, the weapons upgrade merchant.

Eugenie did ask us what happened to the real Alidoro and we responded by saying that the real Alidoro was murdered by the fake one. We received the Proposal Flower Wolf Part 1 record. To be clear, though, we don’t think the letter from the Cryptic Vessel is related to this particular reward.

Cryptic Vessel #6: Mechanical Cryptic Vessel

The player opens a chest to receive a Cryptic Vessel.
Neowiz

How to get the Cryptic Vessel: Arche Abbey Broken Rift - After riding the lift to the top, proceed further into the chamber until you’re able to open the wooden gate. Inside the next area, you’ll find a chest on a ledge.

Secret location and reward #6

The main character stands in front of a merchant with a large sword on his back.
Neowiz

Here’s a quick summary:

  • Champion Victor boss - Champion Victor is the boss in the Grand Exhibition zone. You battle him much earlier in the campaign, well before you obtain this Lies of P Cryptic Vessel. Defeating him nets you the Reborn Champion’s Ergo.
  • Frozen Feast weapon - The Reborn Champion’s Ergo can be exchanged for either the Frozen Feast or the Arm of God amulet, which happens to be one of the best items in the game since it increases your physical damage after a successful attack. If you really want the amulet, then your only recourse is to get the Frozen Feast during your New Game Plus playthrough.
  • Abandoned Apartment - Exit the apartment to reach the ruined and broken streets of Krat. Follow the narrow pathways and head to the left (i.e. the park with Disruption critters). At the top of the steps, you’ll find a merchant. He will ask you to present the Frozen Feast; he will just ignore your request if you don’t have the weapon.
  • Rewards: Red Fox’s Hunting Apparel and Quartz.

If you’ve managed to obtain all Lies of P Cryptic Vessel rewards, you’ll earn the Veteran Explorer achievement. Do note that we acquired and deciphered Alidoro’s Cryptic Vessel during our playthrough, though we can’t confirm if it’s required for the tally.

In any case, these are all the Cryptic Vessels in Lies of P. We hope you enjoyed trekking all over the city of Krat. For other tips and strategies, you can visit our Lies of P walkthrough and guides hub.
