Lies of P has numerous costumes that you can find as you journey through its grim world. These are just cosmetic items: they won’t alter your stats, and they mostly change how your character looks.

Our guide discusses all outfits and masks in Lies of P. Bear in mind that there are different methods of acquiring these rewards. Likewise, since you’re roaming the city of Krat, you might as well search for other collectibles, such as gestures and records. Lastly, please be reminded that this article contains spoilers.

How to get outfits and masks in Lies of P

A player receives an outfit and emote from an NPC in a wheelchair.

The Lies of P outfits and masks can come from different sources, and they can be worn by going to your equipment menu and selecting the costumes tab. We’ve organized our guide into different categories based on the method of acquisition, as well as the location relative to your progress in the campaign.

Costumes from Cryptic Vessels

A player stands along a cliffside area with a grand hotel in the distance.
Neowiz

You can acquire Lies of P costumes by deciphering Cryptic Vessels and reaching the correct location based on the clues. You can learn more in our Cryptic Vessels guide. In any case, here are the outfits that we’ve obtained so far:

  • Owl Doctor's Hunting Apparel – The reward from the first Cryptic Vessel.
  • The Atoned's Hunting Apparel – The reward from the Jeweled Cryptic Vessel.
  • Black Cat's Hunting Apparel – The reward from the Rusty Cryptic Vessel; this takes you to a secret area called the Hermit's Cave.

Red Fox's Hunting Apparel – The reward from the Mechanical Cryptic Vessel; this requires you to have the Frozen Feast boss weapon just so the merchant gives you a reward.

Costumes from Trinity Keys

A player is in a dimly lit room with a triangular symbol on the floor.
Neowiz

There are also Lies of P outfits that come from Trinity Key rooms. You'll need to answer riddles correctly to obtain these keys. You can then use them to unlock doors with triangular symbols. You can learn more in our Riddles and Trinity Keys guide. Here are the costumes that we've found during the campaign:

  • Blue Blood's Tailcoat – Acquired from the Workshop Union room.
  • Monster Sweeper’s Hunting Apparel – Acquired from the St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel room.
  • Workshop Master's Workwear – Acquired from the Krat Central Station room.

Alchemist's Cape – Acquired from the Chosen One/Arlecchino room in Arche Abbey.

Early-game Lies of P outfits and masks

A character wearing a donkey mask succumbs to his wounds.

The other Lies of P outfits come from general exploration as you make your way through various levels. Most are unmissable since you're bound to encounter these NPCs. We enumerate some of the items that we've found in early-game levels, such as Krat City Hall, Workshop Union, and Moonlight Town:

  • Someone's Memory – Talk to Antonia upon arriving in Hotel Krat.
  • Mad Donkey's Hunting Apparel and Mad Donkey's Mask – Defeat the Mad Donkey Stalker to rescue Geppetto.
  • Survivor's Hunting Apparel and Survivor's Mask – In Workshop Union Culvert, continue through the level until you meet Black Cat and Red Fox. Instead of going to the control room, check the chamber on the top floor of the facility and look for a ladder that leads back down. You'll meet the Survivor Stalker, and you need to defeat this foe to obtain these items.
  • The Atoned’s Mask – Make your way to the cable car at the end of Moonlight Town to meet the Atoned Stalker. You’ll have two choices: give the stalker’s greeting or do nothing. Choose to do nothing, and you’ll battle this NPC. After winning the fight, you’ll receive this mask.

Mid-game Lies of P outfits and masks

A player battles a Stalker enemy known as the Robber Weasel.
Neowiz

These are the attires that we've discovered in stages like Rosa Isabelle Street, Barren Swamp, and the ruined Krat Station:

  • White Lady's Mask – Defeat the White Lady Stalker in the plaza just past Rosa Isabelle Street Entrance.
  • Puppet Prince's Formal Dress – Defeat Romeo the Puppet King in Estella Opera House.
  • Owl Doctor's Mask – Upon reaching the Barren Swamp area with two Puppets of the Future roaming around, look for a side path that leads to a shack. Inside, you can battle the Owl Doctor Stalker to receive this Lies of P mask.
  • Robber Weasel's Hunting Apparel and Robber Weasel's Mask – In the ruined Krat Station, you'll encounter the Robber Weasel Stalker. Eliminate them to receive these attires.

Late-game Lies of P outfits and masks

A player talks to an NPC named Test Subject 826.
Neowiz

Finally, these are items that we acquired later in the campaign. Specifically, these are from encounters in Arche Abbey:

  • Black Cat's Mask – In the Arche Abbey, you'll come across a chamber with the Chosen One's Trinity Key door. There's a hallway that leads to a larger room where the Black Cat Stalker is waiting. Give them a Gold Coin Fruit to obtain this Lies of P mask. Do note that there are prior interactions where we gave both Black Cat and Red Fox these coins. But we can't confirm if these are all required just to have this choice near the end of the campaign.
  • White Lady's Hunting Apparel – Just past the chamber with the Black Cat, you'll meet an NPC called Test Subject 826. Talk to them to receive the Happy emote, and they'll also say something about going back to Rosa Isabelle Street. Fast travel to Rosa Isabelle Street Culvert and go to the bridge overlooking the avenue with burning buildings. You'll spot Test Subject 826, and you can purchase the White Lady's Hunting Apparel for 5,000 Ergo.
  • Red Fox's Mask – As you make your way through Arche Abbey Upper Part, you'll eventually encounter the Red Fox. Choose to give a Gold Coin Fruit to receive this cosmetic item.

In any case, these are the Lies of P costumes that we've found so far. If we're able to discover more, we'll update our guide accordingly.
