Lies of P has several records that you can obtain as you delve deeper into its dark world. There are a variety of methods to acquire them, and some are even tied to side quests. Upon finding one, you’ll be able to listen to a song.

Our guide discusses all records in Lies of P. Since you’re also looking for collectibles, we advise you to visit our guides on outfits/masks and gestures/emotes that you can find while exploring. Lastly, please be reminded that this article contains spoilers.

How to find and play records in Lies of P

A player stands in front of a gramophone with a woman standing next to it.
Neowiz

Each time you obtain a record in Lies of P, make sure you interact with the gramophone next to Polendina in Hotel Krat. If you listen to the song all the way to the end, you'll gain Humanity Points. This mechanic is tied to the formation of P's identity, where he'll start to feel more human.

Feel

Lies of P menu screen showing the Feel record.
Neowiz

Location: Krat City Hall – Talk to the silhouette of a woman just before the bridge leading to Krat City Hall. Continue onward to the building and pick up the Broken Baby Puppet that's guarded by a large enemy mob. Return to the woman and respond with: “She's a cute baby.”

Divine Service

Neowiz

Location: St. Frangelico Cathedral Library – Go to the area to the left of the fast travel point and talk to Cecille. Proceed further into the level until you reach a landing with a large globe. Circle around to the opposite wing to find the Archbishop's Holy Mark and give it to Cecille. Then, after defeating Fallen Bishop Andreus, return to Cecille's location to find this Lies of P record, as well as a letter that rewards the Pray gesture.

Someday

A player chats with the Malum District Black Market Trader.
Neowiz

Location: Malum District – Progress through the level normally until you're able to enter the Red Lobster Inn. Climb up the ladder in the storage area and talk to the Black Market Merchant. You can either lie about being a member of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood, or you can pay him some Ergo as a bribe. Either way, you'll be able to purchase the Someday record for 3,800 Ergo.

Fascination

A dead woman in a red dress lies on the floor in front of a player.
Neowiz

Location: Estella Opera House – Make your way inside the Opera House and head to the right-hand side. Climb up the steps to the balcony and look for a passageway between the two Spider Ladies. You’ll see a small room where Adelina, a woman in a red dress, resides. She’s ill and you can give her a Bright Red Apple. After beating the King of Puppets boss, you’ll see that Adelina has died, but you can pick up the Fascination record from her body. However, you do need to take note of the following:

  • The Bright Red Apple is purchased from Polendina, but you need to increase his shop’s wares by giving him a Krat Supply Box.
  • One Krat Supply Box can be found in the topmost section of St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel, in the corridor that has a lift that leads to the library area.
  • Make sure you give the Bright Red Apple to Adelina as soon as you can. If you defeat the King of Puppets without giving her the item, she’ll die and she won’t drop the record at all.

Why

The player receives a record from a blonde woman named Belle.
Neowiz

Location #1: Grand Exhibition - Upon reaching the second-floor portion of the facility, look for a ladder close to the metal beams. You should meet an NPC named Belle. From there, beat the Champion Victor boss so Belle moves to Hotel Krat.

Location #2: Krat Central Station Platform - Progress through the campaign until you defeat the Corrupted Parade Master and re-enter Hotel Krat. Antonia should tell you about a hidden passage. Instead of heading there, talk to Belle once more and help her find her missing friend. Here are the next steps:

  • Fast travel to Krat Central Station Platform and check the metal stairs leading back down.
  • Take a look behind the steps to find that the green train car is open.
  • Talk to the NPC, Atkinson, to obtain his letter.

Return to Belle and choose the answer that you want to give her. You can either tell her that Atkinson was killed in action, or that he turned to a monster. In our case, we opted to lie by saying that Atkinson died while fighting, and we received this Lies of P record.

Quixotic

A player shows kindness to an NPC named Red Fox by giving them a Gold Coin Fruit.
Neowiz

Location: Grand Exhibition – After taking out Champion Victor, you'll meet up with both Red Fox and Black Cat. Give a Gold Coin Fruit to receive this record, as well as the Beg emote.

Misty E'rA

A player is shown battling a Corrupted Ogre enemy.
Neowiz

Location: Hermit's Cave – You need to decipher the Rusty Cryptic Vessel, which opens the tunnel gate leading to the Hermit's Cave. Proceed with caution until you encounter the Corrupted Ogre mob. Kill it to obtain this Lies of P record.

Proposal, Flower, Wolf Part 1 or Far East Princess

A player is given the Proposal, Flower, Wolf Part 1 record by a woman named Eugenie.
Neowiz

Location: Hotel Krat – Both of these records come from Eugenie. The goal is to interact with various NPCs:

  • Eugenie – Talk to her whenever you see her character's icon in the Stargazer fast travel panel. Later, she’ll give you gloves that you can bring to Alidoro.
  • Alidoro – Alidoro is the boss weapons merchant, and he'll eventually head out to the Barren Swamp later in the campaign. Bring him the gloves and tell Eugenie about his reaction (you can lie if you want).
  • Hugo – You'll meet Hugo, a fan of Alidoro, in Barren Swamp Bridge. He tells you more about Alidoro's past.
  • Alidoro's fate – After the Relic of Trismegistus boss battle, you'll encounter Alidoro once more. Exhaust the dialogue options until he admits that he's just an impostor, and that he killed the real Alidoro. You can then kill him to receive his Cryptic Vessel.

When all is said and done, return to Hotel Krat and talk to Venigni to decipher the Cryptic Vessel. Read it and make sure to turn the pages. Speak with Eugenie and decide on your answer:

  • Lie: I think he was just a talented stalker – You’ll receive the Far East Princess record.
  • Truth: He was Eugenie’s older brother – You’ll receive the Proposal, Flower, Wolf Part 1 record.
  • Truth: The real Alidoro was murdered by the fake one (if you did not read the Cryptic Vessel) – You’ll still receive the Proposal, Flower, Wolf Part 1 record.

Because these records come from a single decision, you won’t be able to acquire both during the same playthrough. As such, you’ll need to get the other collectible on your New Game Plus run.

Memory of Beach

A player looks on at the wheelchair previously used by a woman named Antonia.
Neowiz

Location: Hotel Krat – This one requires you to prolong Antonia's life, at least until she moves to another location. Here's what you need to do:

  • Make sure you get the Wedding Ring by completing Julian the Gentleman's task in Rosa Isabelle Culvert.
  • A bit later, Polendina will ask if a human and a puppet can fall in love. Show him the Wedding Ring.
  • Some time later, you can get a cure from Giangio by exchanging a Gold Coin Fruit.
  • Bring the cure to Polendina so he can give it to Antonia.
  • Finally, after Hotel Krat is attacked, you'll find Antonia and the other NPCs in Geppetto's room. Although she's alive for now, she'll perish as you progress further in the campaign.
  • Once Polendina tells you that Antonia is gone, check her wheelchair to find this Lies of P record.

Shadow Flower

A player looks at the nearly lifeless husk that was once Sophia.
Neowiz

Location: Ascension Bridge – In the game's final mega-dungeon, the Arche Abbey, you'll fight a boss named Laxasia the Complete. Once you've defeated her, proceed into the next room to find the real Sophia. She doesn't have a lot of time left and you can decide what will happen to her. We chose to “give her peace,” which caused her body to disappear. She'll leave behind the Shadow Flower record.

These are the Lies of P records that we've found so far in the campaign. We'll update this guide accordingly once we discover more, so stay tuned.
