There are more party members in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth than any other game in the series, and they will appear as you play through the game. The party members will change throughout, but as you enter the end game, you will have pretty much all available characters at your disposal.

Here are all recruitable party members in Infinite Wealth and when you can grab them.

All playable characters in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

Ichiban Kasuga - Chapter 1

Sega

As you expect, Ichiban Kasuga is the protagonist here again, and you gain him right at the beginning of the game. He will start out as a Freelancer and will gain the Hero job by the end of the chapter. Kasuga is a mixed attacker, and works well using either his Attack or Magic. Nanba and Adachi will join Kasuga at this point, but they will leave the party soon after.

Kazuma Kiryu - Chapter 3

Sega

Our next protagonist will join the game in Chapter 3, but Kasuga will remain the main party member. Kiryu comes with The Dragon of Dojima job. He is removed from your party in Chapter 7, and will become the main party member in Chapters 8, 10, 12, and 14. As you might expect, Kiryu thrives when using his physical attack and has a great variety of standard attacks that don’t consume MP.

Eric Tomizawa - Chapter 3

Sega

Tomizawa joins your team later in the chapter where you team up with Kiryu, and has the Cabbie job by default. Once he joins, he will never leave Kasuga’s party save for one tricky boss fight at the end of Chapter 7. Tomizawa is a Magical attacker with some powerful Water, Electric, and Fire abilities and a high MP stat.

Chitose Fujinomiya - Chapter 4

Sega

Chitose becomes a permanent member of Kasuga’s team after she joins the party in Chapter 4. She is removed from your party in Chapter 11 but will return to the party shortly afterward. She comes with the Heiress job but is a fast mixed attacker that suits a number of roles.

Koichi Adachi - Chapter 7

Sega

After his brief appearance on the team in Chapter 1, Adachi becomes a permanent member of Kasuga’s party toward the end of Chapter 7. He comes with the standard Detective job and is a strong physical attacker with a number of grappling moves.

Yu Nanba - Chapter 8

Sega

Nanba appears as a party member briefly in Chapters 1 and 7 but does not become a permanent member until Chapter 8. He is a member of Kiryu’s party and will not be playable with Kasuga until the post-game Premium Adventure. He comes with the Homeless Guy job and is a strong magical attacker.

Seonhee - Chapter 8

Sega

Seonhee is a playable character in Infinite Wealth after first appearing in Yakuza: Like A Dragon. She joins Kiryu’s team at the same time as Nanba, and becomes a permanent member. She comes with the Assassin job and has a high attack stat.

Tianyou Zhao - Chapter 10

Sega

Zhao returns as a playable character starting in Chapter 10 when he joins Kiryu’s team. Then, he becomes a permanent member of the team. He starts with the Gangster job but is a mixed attacker and can work in either role.

Joongi Han - Chapter 13

Sega

Joongi Han is another returning party member, though unfortunately, he doesn’t join the team until near the end of the game in Chapter 13. He joins Kasuga’s party and is playable for the rest of the game. Joongi Han begins with the Hitman job and comes with a number of strong physical moves.
