If you want to know everything about the Life Links in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, then read on.

Life Links: Episode 1

In Chapter 8 the team splits up. Kiryu and his crew will take on Yokohama, while Kasuga and co. remain in Hawaii. At some point during the chapter, Date will call you to meet up at the cabaret bar near Kasuga’s apartment. After you have completed this cutscene, you now have access to Life Links.

Once you reach Awakening level 2 – meaning you have reached level 2 in Rush, Beast, and Brawler styles - Date will call you and ask you to meet him at Harbour Lights. If you go there and meet him, you will initiate the first Life Link with Taichi, one of the children from the Morning Glory Orphanage.

Life Links: Episode 2

In order to open up Episode 2, not only do you have to have completed Episode 1 with Taichi, but you will need to have reached Awakening level 3. Once you have this Awakening level, Date will give you another call and invite you back to Harbour Lights. In this one, you don’t meet anyone from Kiryu’s past, but Date will tell you more about his scheme to reintroduce former people back into Kiryu’s life.

Life Links: Episode 3

After completing Episode 2, you can start Episode 3 if you have reached Awakening level 4 and have received a call from Date. Once you meet him at Harbour Lights, he will take you to Kamurocho, where you will see Kazuki and Yuya outside of their club Stardust.

This episode is particularly valuable because it allows you to use Kazuki and Yuya via Poundmates, who are Bronze-level mates.

Life Links: Episode 4

The fourth episode surrounds Matsunaga and Tagashira from the Hirose Family of Onomichi, who Kiryu befriended in Yakuza 6. As usual, you must have completed Episode 3, reached the next Awakening level, 5, and wait for your call from Date. Once you meet at Harbour Lights, Date will take you to the bar where you can meet them.

Life Links: Episode 5

Unlike the episodes up to this point, Episode 5 is locked behind a main story barrier. In order to unlock this one, you must have reached at least Chapter 10 before you can unlock it. The other checks are still required, such as finishing Episode 4, reaching Awakening level 6, and receiving the invite from Date to go to Harbour Lights.

Date will take you to a coffee shop to meet with Kaoru Sayama, Kiryu’s love interest from Yakuza 2, who very suddenly announced they were moving to Hawaii at the start of Yakuza 3 and then never seen again.

Life Links: Episode 7

This Life Link has another main story barrier and cannot be accessed until you have reached at least Chapter 12. However, the usual unlock conditions still apply: complete Episode 6, reach Awakening level 8, and wait for Date’s phone call.

In Episode 7, you meet with Shun Akiyama from Yakuza 4 and 5 / Sega

In this episode you will meet with Shun Akiyama who is the millionaire protagonist of Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5.
