Like any good JRPG, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has a number of stats that you need to raise in order to battle effectively. Social stats and awakening levels require you to participate in activities outside of battle, and can be easily missed if you don’t go out of your way to raise them.

Here’s everything you need to know to raise your social stats and awakening levels in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

How to increase Kasuga’s social stats in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

Increasing Social Stats has a number of benefits, including improving certain moves. However, the most important reason to increase your social stats is to unlock new jobs at Alo Happy. You will need Level 5 in a number of stats for different jobs, which are the most important part of combat.

There are a couple of ways to increase your stats quickly. One is by making new friends around Hawaii. Whenever you see someone with a green smiley face above their head, you can wave at them by pressing the left face button. This raises a seemingly random stat, and there are so many of them all over the map that you can raise some stats very quickly.

If you want to kill two birds with one stone, then increasing your bond level with your party is the way to go. You will see pink speech bubbles on the map and starting conversations with your pals here will increase your bonds. Once you reach a certain level, you will unlock Drink Links at Revolve, and completing these improves a number of stats.

Social stats rise consistently via usual interactions such as battling, taking pictures, completing substories, and simply walking around. If you feel that you need to raise your social stats, try out some side content, and you’ll find it will happen naturally.

How to increase Kiryu’s social awakening levels in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

Kiryu has ten levels of awakening, and these add helpful buffs to Kiryu in combat. However, the most important reason to increase these is so that you can unlock Date’s Life Links at Harbour Light. You will need to unlock awakening level 9 if you want to see them all, which means that Rush, Brawler, and Beast style all require level 9.

The best way to do this is by completing Part-Time Hero quests. These are optional fights you can find marked on your map, that reward you with a number of awakening points, and some money too. There are a lot of these and they reward you with more points than most normal bucket list items.

Another way to quickly raise these levels is by completing the Memoirs of a Dragon. These are short scenes you can find all over the map that can be seen as golden circles on the ground. These add to your awakening points, and move towards completion. Some of these require participation in small substories, but the majority are very short scenes.
