My Time at Sandrock puts you in the middle of a slightly hostile environment. Aside from the lack of trees and easy water sources, you need to worry about the winds blowing sand all over your machines and causing them to break down. It’s easy enough to clear the sand though, all you need is a Feather Duster.

We’ll tell you how to make a Feather Duster in My Time at Sandrock so you can use it to keep your machines in tip-top condition. Of course, it’s not just dust that can make your machines unusable, they also need water. That’s why we’ve put a guide together on how to get Dew in My Time at Sandrock.

Before you can craft a Feather Duster you need to buy the recipe from the Commerce Guild Store. You can access it by interacting with the cash register by the door of the Commerce Guild building – the recipe itself costs 92 Gols.

Now just head over to your worktable and craft it with the following ingredients:

  • 2 Wooden Sticks
  • 4 Feathers
  • 2 Thin Threads

You can get Wooden Sticks from recycling Wood Scrap or by crafting them from three pieces of wood. You can get feathers by defeating Rocket Roosters, which spawn in the wilderness around your workshop. Finally, you can craft Thin Threads from Plant Fibres, which you get by chopping down bushes.

Once you’ve crafted it, just put it on your hotbar and you can use it to clean your machines. You may even get Dinas in the process.
