While the Worktable, Recycler, and Furnace will see you through the earliest portions of My Time at Sandrock, it won’t take long for your project to require more advanced materials like gears, screws, and wires. That’s why you’ll need to seek out and create a Grinder for just those components.

We’ll explain how to make a Grinder in My Time at Sandrock so you can push on building bigger and better things to make the town a better place.

Before you can build your Grinder, you need to go to Qi’s place and research it. It’s one of the basic machines you can research for the cost of just 3 Data Discs. Plus, it only takes one day to finish the research, so you can get it very quickly.

Once you have the recipe, you need to use your Assembly Station to put it together using the following materials:

  • 2 Bearings
  • 3 Bronze Bars
  • 6 Bricks

We have a guide on how to get Bearings in My Time at Sandrock if you need to gather those. Bronze Bars can be smelted in a Furnace using Copper and Tin Ore, both of which can be found in the Eufaula Salvage Abandoned Ruins. Finally, Bricks are made by Smelting Stone in a furnace.
