Fastest car in each tier – Need for Speed: Unbound
Need for Speed: Unbound is out now, and it’s a surprisingly decent return to form. While not a perfect racer by any means, Need for Speed: Unbound adapts a new cel-shaded art style for characters and visual effects, which are pulled off beautifully, enhancing the overhauled drift-heavy driving style the game has to offer.
Winning races in NFS: Unbound is tough, and you shouldn’t expect to come first place in every race – or any race when you’re first starting out. If you want to come at the top of the board every time though, make sure to get these vehicles – these are the fastest cars in each tier, and they will carry you through all of the toughest challenges in the game.
Best B Tier car: Porsche 911 Carrera S (1997) – NFS: Unbound
On top of the B Tier races at stock settings, the Porche 911 Carrera S easily outpaces a lot of the other vehicles in the same class, with a solid top speed and decent traction control too. If you want to set records in the low-tier races, this is one of the best cars to do it in.
Best A Tier car: BMW M3 Coupé (2010) – NFS: Unbound
The next step up is the BMW M3 Coupé, and this is quite the nice vehicle. It loses out on traction a bit, but as long as you’re a skilled or cautious driver, this vehicle should take you to the top of the board in most A Tier races.
Best A+ Tier car: Aston Martin DB11 (2017) – NFS: Unbound
This is where the cars start getting seriously fast, and the Aston Martin DB11 is a classic car to speed around Lakeshore in. This should smash through A+ Tier races, but the $155k price tag is nothing to sneeze at when you start the game.
Best S Tier car: Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SV (2009) – NFS: Unbound
Traction? Who needs it when you have this much speed? This is $335k well-spent if you manage to clear through all of the S Tier races in the game without a problem.
Best S+ Tier car: Bugatti Chiron Sport (2019) – NFS: Unbound
This is the top tier in terms of performance and cost. No traction, no brains, all reactions and redline speed. The Bugatti Chiron will cost you $3.6 million in the game, but if you can hit that top speed, it’ll be totally worth it.
