Ancient technology hides some of the most advanced items and equipment in all of Palworld. With it, you can hatch Pal eggs, increase the strength of your Pals, and even build a Grapple Gun to zoom around the place, but you can’t unlock any of it with the standard technology points.

While you get a generous amount of the regular points, the Ancient Technology Points are much more elusive, and you can only get them by completing certain tasks. We’ll explain how to get these points, but if you want to build these contraptions, you’ll need to know how to get Ancient Civilization Parts in Palworld.

The Ancient Technologies are the most powerful things in Palworld / Pocketpair

You get Ancient Technology Points in Palworld when you defeat bosses for the first time.

There are a few different types of boss in Palworld. The first are the large Pals you can find roaming the world that have big health bars and are marked on your map. These boss Pals do respawn after being defeated, but they will only give you one Ancient Technology Point the first time you defeat them, after that it’ll just be parts and their standard loot drops.

The best way to get Ancient Technology Points is to take on and defeat the Syndicate Tower bosses. These are the toughest enemies in the game, but taking them down will earn you five Ancient Technology Points the first time you defeat them. Taking on all the Syndicate Towers and clearing out the bosses in the overworld will earn you all the points you need to get everything in the tech tree.
