Palworld Bellanoir Raid Boss: How to summon and fight Bellanoir

How to summon Bellanoir so you can fight and earn your own Bellanoir pal in Palworld.
Pocketpair

Palworld’s first Raid Boss, Bellanoir, is finally available for players to battle against, and it’s tougher than you might expect just to summon this new creature. Instead of simply heading to single location where Bellanoir spawns like many of the game’s world bosses, this monster can only be spawned on your base – which does at least mean that you base pals can get in on the fight.

For everything you need to know to summon and fight Bellanoir in Palworld, just read through our full explanation of every step below.

Palworld’s new update has finally added the game’s first Raid Boss, Bellanoir. This enemy pal can’t be captured, but you can battle it using all of the pals you have at your base. Make sure you have a strong team ready, and following these steps:

  • Build a Summoning Altar
  • Collect Bellanoir’s Slab Fragments
  • Craft Bellanoir’s Slab
  • Summon and defeat Bellanoir

For a full breakdown on how to complete those steps, just read through our breakdown below.

You can also fight Bellanoir Libero, a level 50 version of this boss, by collecting Bellanoir Libero’s Slab Fragments from the Northern snowy region’s dungeons. Obviously, this is only recommended if you are already level 50, but Bellanoir Libero can be summoned using the same method detailed below.

How to unlock and build the Summoning Altar – Palworld

The Summoning Altar is a brand new addition to the Technology Tree, and it requires three Ancient Technology Points to unlock at level 33. Luckily it only requires 100 Stone and 20 Paldium Fragments to build, which is pretty generous.

The Summoning Altar is a very large structure, and will be destroyed after you use it to summon a raid boss with a Pal Slab – Bellanoir being the only raid boss currently available. You should build it when you are ready to summon Bellanoir and begin the fight, otherwise it will just be in the way. Make sure you have your toughest pals ready before summoning Bellanoir!

How to craft Bellanoir’s Slab – Palworld

Bellanoir’s Slab is what you need to insert into the Summoning Altar to bring Bellanoir to life for your fight. You can craft Bellanoir’s Slab at a high level workbench – like a Production Assembly Line – using four Bellanoir’s Slab Fragments.

Bellanoir’s Slab Fragments can be found at the end of dungeons – you don’t even need to seek out particularly high-level dungeons, you can just grind through ones you’re familiar with, as rewards will respawn over time.

The Bellanoir Raid Boss is level 30 though, and building the Summoning Altar requires you to be level 33, so you will need to have made fairly significant progress through the game, and will need an optimized party of Pals to stand a chance.

Bellanoir Raid Boss rewards – Palworld

Once you’ve defeated Bellanoir you’ll be gifted with a variety of items, including an egg to hatch a Bellanoir of your own, and a Multiclimate Undershirt to make exploring the world much easier.
