January 2024 PlayStation State of Play start time and where to watch
Sony announced the long-rumored January 2024 State of Play event, set to air on Jan. 31, 2024, with 40 minutes of announcements and updates for upcoming PS5 games. Sony said we can expect “some of the most talented minds in gaming” and reveals from studios across the world. Two of those 15 games are Stellar Blade, which it seems like we’ve been seeing for years now, and Rise of the Ronin, Team Ninja’s latest, set to launch in March 2024.

The January 2024 PlayStation State of Play airs on Jan. 31, at:

- 5 p.m. ET
- 10 p.m. GMT
- 11 p.m. CET
The pre-recorded video is over 40 minutes long, so set aside a fair chunk of time if you plan on watching.
January 2024 PlayStation State of Play: Where to watch
Sony will air the State of Play on the official PlayStation YouTube channel, and you can also find it on PlayStation’s TikTok channel and Twitch channel. As always with these, the video will appear in its full form on PlayStation’s YouTube channel after the initial broadcast, along with trailers for every game shown.

What to expect from January 2024 PlayStation State of Play announcements
In addition to Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin, Sony said it plans to show 13 or more games for PS5 and PS VR 2 set to launch "in 2024 and beyond."
Some rumors suggest we'll see Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and perhaps even a demo, while recent Death Stranding 2 leaks have others speculating Hideo Kojima will make an appearance. Whether any of these rumors prove true, we'll just have to wait and see.
