Pokémon Go Detective Pikachu Returns: all Research Tasks
Contents
The Detective Pikachu Returns event in Pokémon Go runs from October 5, 2023, at 10am local time to October 9 at 8pm local time and naturally brings back the titular Pokémon as a creature you can catch. If you were hoping to finally add the rarest of all Shiny forms in Pokémon Go to your collection, then you’ll be gravely disappointed: Early reports from players prove that the Detective Pikachu you can catch in this new event is treated as a different species than the original Detective Pikachu available during the promo for the movie. You can read more about the history of the super-rare Detective Pikachu Shiny on Geeky Parade. This is a fortunate development for the owners of those rare forms, which now stay that way instead of becoming devalued by a rerun.
Be that as it may, the event also has a variety of Research Tasks in store, which guarantee you items and Pokémon encounters. Here are all Pokémon Go Detective Pikachu Returns tasks and their rewards.
