Giratina (Origin Forme) is another Pokémon Go 5-Star Raid Boss and a member of Sinnoh’s pantheon of Legendary Pokémon. Both the Origin Forme and Altered Forme of the creature are available in the mobile game, though they exist only as separate entities – a Forme Change mechanic was introduced long after their debuts and hasn’t been extended to them yet.

A Raid Hour featuring Giratina (Origin Forme) will take place on February 23, 2024, from 6 to 7pm local time and will have the Shiny version of the monster enabled. What’s more important, though, is the fact that every specimen caught in this timeframe is guaranteed to know Shadow Force, its signature move.

Giratina (Origin Forme) is a Dragon- and Ghost-type Pokémon, opening lots of weak points for you to exploit. Moves of the categories Dragon, Ghost, Ice, Dark, and Fairy deal more damage against this Legendary, though note that any dragons and ghosts you send out will be just as vulnerable to its attacks.
