The Let’s Go event in Pokémon Go has arrived, bringing some exciting bonuses and changes with it, among which is a refreshed list of Ditto disguises. You’ll find the Transform Pokémon in the wild more often during the event, which you should definitely take advantage of to complete any active research requiring you to catch this sneaky fellow.

Speaking of research, Let’s Go has exclusive Field Research tasks in store and marks the start of a new seasonal Special Research story. Once you claim the Special Research by logging in until June 1, 2023, you can complete it whenever you want.

Let’s Go offers a Collection Challenge as well, giving you lots of things to do and lots of rewards to earn. We’re listing all Pokémon Go Let’s Go tasks and rewards for you here.

Pokémon Go Let’s Go: all Special Research tasks

As far as seasonal Special Research stories go, this one is very easy to start with – it comprises just four steps for now. However, it seems like two additional steps will be released as the season progresses.

Step 1 of 6

  • Catch 10 Pokémon: Pokéball x5
  • Make 10 Curveball Throws: Razz Berry x5
  • Power up Pokémon 5 times: 1,000 Stardust
  • Complete every task in this step: 1,500 XP and Mankey(s)

Step 2 of 6

  • Catch 15 Pokémon: Pokéball x10
  • Make 10 Great Throws: Pinap Berry x5
  • Transfer 20 Pokémon: Great Ball x5
  • Complete every task in this step: 2,000 XP and Meditite(s)

Step 3 of 6

  • Power up Pokémon 10 times: Great Ball x10
  • Make 7 Great Throws: Lure Module x1
  • Defeat a Team GO Rocket Grunt: Revive x3
  • Complete every task in this step: 2,500 XP and Machoke

Step 4 of 6

  • Wait for the next steps to be revealed: 500 XP
  • Complete every task in this step: 1,000 XP and 1,000 Stardust

Pokémon Go Let’s Go: all Field Research tasks

You can claim these exclusive Field Research tasks by spinning PokéStops during the Let’s Go event. Here are all the quests and their rewards:

  • Catch 3 Ditto: Pansage(s), Pansear(s), or Panpour(s)
  • Catch 10 Pokémon: Pokéball x10
  • Catch 20 Pokémon: Great Ball x15
  • Transfer 10 Pokémon: Pokéball x10

Pokémon Go Let’s Go: Collection Challenge

This Collection Challenge remains active until the event ends on March 29, 2023. Here are the Pokémon you’ll need to catch:

  • Ditto (wild spawn)
  • Pansage (wild spawn, Field Research)
  • Pansear (wild spawn, Field Research)
  • Panpour (wild spawn, Field Research)

As a reward for completing this collection you’ll get an encounter with Meltan and 5,000 XP.
