An upcoming Pokémon Go event called Let’s GO will boost the spawn rate of Ditto, enable Shiny Meltan from the Mystery Box, and expand the habitats of the three regional Pokémon Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour to the entire world for a short time.

In addition, Let’s GO features a Rocket Takeover, switching up the battle team rosters of Team Rocket’s leaders Arlo, Cliff, and Sierra, as well as Giovanni. Shadow Registeel will be replaced by Shadow Regice on Giovanni’s team, enabling you to catch a new Shadow Legendary.

Let’s GO will start on March 21, 2023, at 10am local time and last until March 29, 2023, at 8pm local time.

We’re breaking down everything contained in Let’s GO in Pokémon Go for you in this guide.

Let’s GO: Ditto

The Transform Pokémon will be able to change into new kinds of species once the Let’s GO event has begun. Since those Pokémon will have a boosted spawn rate during the event, you will have a better shot at encountering Ditto as well.

Here is the new list of Pokémon Ditto can disguise itself as:

  • Diglett
  • Grimer
  • Snubbull
  • Corphish
  • Starly
  • Roggenrola
  • Tympole
  • Litleo

If you haven’t finished last year’s April Fools Special Research yet, which centered around Ditto, this upcoming time period is going to be your best opportunity to complete those quests.

  • Shiny Meltan is available from the Mystery Box, boosted spawn rate for XXS or XXL sizes.
  • Mystery Box cooldown is reduced.
  • Double Candy for transferring Pokémon.
  • Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour will spawn around the globe.

The following Pokémon will have their spawn rates boosted during the event:

  • Snubbull(s)
  • Corphish(s)
  • Starly(s)
  • Roggenrola(s)
