Another Team Rocket Takeover has arrived in Pokémon Go, bringing with it the Showdown in the Shadows Special Research. You can claim this series of tasks by logging into the mobile game between October 26, 2023, at 10am local time, and December 1, 2023, at 10am local time, after which you can take as long as you wish to complete it. However, to claim this Special Research, you must have already finished your previous Rocket-related Special Research, since players can only have one of these active at a time.

As usual, this series of quests has you battle villainous grunts before you can face Arlo, Cliff, and Sierra. At last, you’ll have to contend with Giovanni. All Team Go Rocket members have trained a new line-up of Shadow Pokémon, so expect fresh battle teams across the board.

Here are all Pokémon Go Showdown in the Shadows tasks.
