There’s plenty to be excited about in the new Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC, the Indigo Disk, but perhaps most of all is the host of new Pokémon, including the four new Paradox Pokémon. These are variations on two iconic legendary trios, the Legendary Beasts from Gen 2, and the Swords of Justice from Gen 5.

We’ll cover how to find Iron Boulder in the Indigo Disk, and how to catch once you’ve tracked it down.

Iron Boulder is a brand new Paradox Pokémon in the Indigo Disk / Nintendo

Once you’ve completed Perrin’s quest in the Indigo Disk Pokémon DLC, you’ll get to glimpse her photos of the two Paradox ‘mons. Iron Boulder is a little harder to find than its counterpart, but we’ll point you to the right location.

You can find Iron Boulder at the bottom of the grassy area of Area Zero – do not go down into the cave. Start at Area Zero base three – the one just outside the cave entrance – and go all the way around the edge of the big crater in the center until you’re on the opposite side. There you’ll see a waterfall with a stream running away from the crater, and a giant grassy slab of rock propped up on its side.

Go behind that massive slab of rock and you’ll find a small grassy patch where Iron Boulder is waiting for you to battle it.
