Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: How to evolve Galarian Slowpoke into Slowbro and Slowking
Contents
The Indigo Disk brought back a huge number of regional forms, including the beloved Galarian Slowpoke. While Kantonian Slowpoke is available without the DLC, the Galarian form is a DLC exclusive. Galarian Slowpoke hasn’t been featured since Pokémon Sword and Shield, and so with a new game, there is a new way to evolve it.
Here’s how you can grab both Galarian Slowpoke evolutions.
How to catch Galarian Slowpoke in The Indigo Disk DLC
Galarian Slowpoke can be found in a number of different areas in the Coastal biome, but there is one particular beach they like to hang out on. One of the beaches, right next to the Coastal Plaza, is full of Galarian Slowpoke just hanging out, and they are very easy to sneak up on and catch.
How to evolve Galarian Slowpoke into Slowbro and Slowking in The Indigo Disk DLC
Galarian Slowpoke has two evolutions, but both use a similar evolution method. Like in Sword and Shield, you will need to use the Galarica Cuff and Galarica Wreath to get Slowbro and Slowking, respectively. There is an NPC in the Coastal Plaza who will make these items for you.
You will need to give her eight Galarica Twigs for Slowbro’s Galarica Cuff, and fifteen twigs for Slowking’s Galarica Wreath.
Where can you get Galarica Twigs in The Indigo Disk DLC?
Galarica Twigs only spawn on the beach next to the Coastal Plaza, where all the Slowpoke hang out. A lot spawn here at a time, and you can find them by picking up the gold-sparkling items. Despite how many spawn there, you will likely not have enough to weave both the Cuff and the Wreath.
The easiest way to respawn them is to simply leave and do something else and come back to collect them again. It can take quite a bit of time to respawn, so just keep checking back.
