RE4 Separate Ways Bug Buster: All Novistador locations for the two Bug Buster requests
Contents
One of the brand new Merchant requests you’ll find while playing through Resident Evil 4 remake’s Separate Ways DLC is the Bug Buster, and it might be the most challenging of any of the Merchant’s requests.
This has you seeking out Novistadors, familiar bug enemies that have an annoying habit of blending into their surroundings. Novistadors can camouflage themselves against walls and rocks, making them tough to spot, and with no map markers like the Blue Medallion requests get, these can leave you feeling pretty stuck.
For all Novistador locations for the two Bug Buster requests in RE4 remake’s Separate Ways DLC, just look through our guide below.
How to find Bug Buster Novistadors – RE4 Separate Ways
Finding these Novistadors is actually quite tough, as they are not hostile and will not attack you, instead choosing to hide. If you’re having trouble spotting them, try using the BioSensor Scope and your rifle to check your surroundings.
Bug Buster 1, Path of Penitence Novistador locations – RE4 Separate Ways
The first is on the North side of the Path of Penitence. After you activate the stones to open pathways (also potentially crush you) you’ll find this Novistador just above the North side of the stone blocking the North path.
The second is actually on the path leading out of Path of Penitence and away from the crushing stones. After you pass the final stone, just before you leave the cave, look behind you and check the ceiling above the stairwell.
After you wipe out the waves of the Ganados on the stairs, but before you leave this area, make sure to check up above, hanging from the corner of the castle wall of the Ancient Chantry.
Bug Buster 2, Defensive Line Novistador locations – RE4 Separate Ways
The first one is easy – as soon as you pick up the request, look out over the Defensive Line and turn left. You’ll see the Novistador hanging on the wall.
You’ll be able to see the other two from the North side of the bridge near the rear of the Defensive Line, behind the turret that was shooting at you from the right. From here look up at the metal towers placed on wall above the turret to see a Novistador hanging to one.
Now head to the top of the stairs here and look out over the scene directly ahead of you with the BioSensor Scope. You should be able to spot the hidden Novistador in the distance.
