Resident Evil 4’s original Blue Medallion side quest has been greatly expanded in the Resident Evil 4 remake, with a grand total of six different Blue Medallion side quests to complete taking place in seven different areas. That’s a lot of Blue Medallions to find, and we’ve got the answers for you here.

Blue Medallions do get marked on your map after you find the requests – which are all titled Destroy The Blue Medallions – but even then, they can be difficult to locate. Just follow our instructions below to find every Blue Medallion in the Resident Evil 4 remake.

Farm Blue Medallion locations – RE4 Remake

There are five Blue Medallions to find in the Farm during Chapter 1.

The first is behind the building with the typewriter in.

You can see the second inside the barn if you look from the outside.

Another is in the upstairs window of the locked barn.

This is hanging from the balcony of the large building housing the wooden cog puzzle – you can only see it from the balcony of the initially locked barn.

The final one is inside the small outhouse, next to the windmill above the well of stinking water.

Quarry and Fish Farm Blue Medallion locations – RE4 Remake

Another five Blue Medallions to find in the Quarry and Fish Farm areas during Chapter 3.

The first can be found hanging on the wooden beams above the Quarry.

You’ll have to leave the Quarry and head towards the Lake to find the next – it’s underneath the dock near the boat.

Heading into the Fish Farm area, the first is hanging in the small hut.

The next can be seen in a gap between the planks, on the left side of the chamber, below the raised walkway.

The final Blue Medallion for this area is hanging just underneath the dock, after your jump down towards the cabin which houses the Boat Fuel.

Castle Gate Blue Medallion locations – RE4 Remake

There are six Blue Medallions to find the Castle Gate area in Chapter 7.

The first can be found behind the ruined stone building, where catapults will be firing at you.

Another is in the alcove where you will raise the cannon up to.

One more in that stone building from before, just above the door.

Behind that stone building you can find another one hanging from the wooden beams.

There’s another in the area where you raised the cannon from – you might need to drop back down to find it.

After climbing your way out of the cannon area, look down to your left and you might spot the final medallion hanging from a tree in the distance.

Grand Hall Blue Medallion locations – RE4 Remake

When you arrive in the Grand Hall in Chapter 9 you’ll find that there are another six Blue Medallions lying in wait for you.

Check behind the three-headed statue for the first.

Once more is in the alcove to your right, just as you enter the Grand Hall.

You can find another hiding in the chandelier.

In the Dining Hall, check between the curtains at the last window.

You can find another hanging above the balcony in the Armory.

The final one is in the Goat Head room with the raising/lowering bridge, behind a pillar at the rear of the lower floor.

Cargo Depot Blue Medallion locations – RE4 Remake

There are five more Blue Medallions to locate in the Cargo Depot during Chapter 14, so let’s grab them all.

The first is directly above the entrance to the area.

Another is just off the cliff to the right of the entrance.

Up the stairs and inside the lower section of the Cargo Depot, you’ll find this one hanging near a shipping container.

You’ll find another hanging behind some boxes, right side, near the stairs.

Another finally one hiding up to your left as you walk up the stairs to exit the lower level..

Cliffside Ruins Blue Medallion locations – RE4 Remake

There are another five Blue Medallions to find in the Cliffside Ruins in Chapter 15, and this is the final location you need to worry about Blue Medallions in.

First, nail the one hanging in the alcove high above the building.

Another is hidden just off the path to the right, as you approach the next area.

This is an awkward one – it’s hidden offshore, near some rocks. Drop down to the lower level of the Cliffside Ruins and use a rifle to spot it off in the distance.

The final Blue Medallion for this area – and the game – is located up inside the ruins, just above the ladder you can drop down.
