The Wandering Dead request location – RE4 Remake
This request is picked up just after you complete the Cargo Depot section of Chapter 14. Once you finish Chapter 14, you will not be able to return to any of these areas, so make sure to do it as soon as you collect it.
The fight itself takes place in the Incubation Lab, which you can reach fairly easily from the Cargo Depot merchant.
How to make The Wandering Dead request easier – RE4 Remake
Make sure to leave Ashley in a locker while on the way to the lab. This will be your second time in the Incubation Lab, and the first involved a lot of combat. There were originally four Regeneradors in tubes here. You will have killed one to find the Wrench, leaving three. It’s possible that you killed them in the last fight, but if you didn’t, then you’re still at risk of having them join the battle against this boss monster.
If they’re still alive, you need to lead the boss monster out of the Incubation Lab, so you’re not at risk of waking them up.
The Wandering Dead monster fight – RE4 Remake
This Regenerador is basically covered in parasites, far more than any other Regenerador or Iron Maiden that you’ll encounter in the game. Killing it is the same as any other – destroy all of the parasites – but getting it done might be rough.
Since it has so many parasites, though, you can feel free to let loose with bullets when the fight starts. Shotguns and SMGs can cover a large area, and will likely take out a few parasites just through sheer luck. Once it’s been riddled, you can use the Biosensor Scope from Chapter 13 to pick off the final parasites.
If you can use the Incubation Lab to fight in, then you can jump over the wall with the broken window to kite the monster back and forth, making it easier to predict and fight.
