2D Sonic games share plenty of similar qualities, but the one thing they are wildly inconsistent on is their length. Sonic 1 has six main zones, each with three acts, only for Sonic 2 to immediately switch things up, having eleven zones, most of which only had two acts – and some only had one.

So when you’re starting out your Sonic Superstars journey, it’s fair to want to know how long of a ride you’re in for, so we’ll tell you how many zones are in Sonic Superstars, as well as how many acts are in each zone.
