At some point during Starfield’s main story, you will travel to Nesoi, and you might have stumbled upon The Almagest, a seemingly abandoned zero-gravity casino orbiting the planet, which hides some nice loot, including The Almagest jackpot.

There, you will find a bunch of spacers and a couple more powerful space troublemakers you need to deal with, so be prepared with weapons and ammo. In any case, most of the enemies you’ll encounter here are rather low-level, so you shouldn’t have much trouble taking them out.

Combat and looting in The Almagest casino is quite a unique experience, as there’s almost no gravity in the entire orbital station, so navigating around with precision may take some getting used to.

Apart from looting your dead enemies for some credits, ammo, and weapons, you can also loot every corner of the casino, where you’ll find aid items, weapons, floating credstiks, and even... playing cards.

If you've picked the Dream Home trait during character creation, Nesoi is also where your house is located, so be sure to check out our guide about it too.

The Almagest jackpot backend terminal location in Starfield

One particularly important loot location in The Almagest is the Jackpot backend room. If you’re reading this guide, chances are you’ve already found it.

You can access the room from a ventilation duct opening to the right of the big safe door. That’s in one of the tall atriums to the left of the casino’s main bar. The jackpot backend terminal there will require you to input a combination.

Right next to the terminal, you will also find a contraband chest containing harvested organs and mech components, and a briefcase with some more mech components. Make sure you loot these, as they are highly valuable. If you don’t know how to shield and sell contraband in Starfield, we have a guide for that too.

The exact contents of the contraband cache will vary, but they will always net you a hefty sum of credits, if you manage to sell them.

Get The Almagest jackpot combination from the Manager’s Computer

To find the jackpot combination naturally, get out of the jackpot terminal duct and go up to the upper floor, opposite the big safe door. It’s the floor just above the main bar, at the center of the casino. There you will find the manager’s office, another important loot location in The Almagest that you shouldn’t miss anyway.

Inside the manager’s office, you can loot one big science crate for quite some credits, ammo, and more, as well as the three locked safes on the wall.

Each of the safes has a different level lock, novice, advanced, and master, so if you want to loot all three, you’ll have to rank up your Security skill. You can learn more about lockpicking in Starfield in our guide.

After you grab all the loot, make sure you check out the Manager’s Computer. In the Jackpot Combination file, you will find the code to hit the Almagest jackpot.

If you’ve already looted the manager’s office and don’t want to go back or just need to know the code, we’ve got you covered too.

The Almagest jackpot combination is 12, 19, 36, 5. Now you can just go back to the jackpot backend terminal and input the right numbers when prompted to claim 3700 credits. Yeah, it's not particularly impressive for a jackpot, but together with the contraband and the other loot, The Almagest is definitely worth the effort.

If you visit the casino again after some time, the mobs and the loot will respawn, but the jackpot can be claimed only once.
