If you’ve played a Bethesda game on PC before, then you’ve probably used console commands at some point. These act a little bit like a debug menu, but of course, you can use them to cheat to your heart’s content as well if you want. We’ll run you through how to use console commands in Starfield and all the commands we know of.

We have more comprehensive guides of everything you can do in Starfield, such as how to become the Mantis in Starfield, customize your Starfield ships, buy new Starfield ships, and even a full Starfield main story quest list.

To open the console command menu, you need to press the “~” key on a US keyboard or the “@” key on a European keyboard. This will open the menu where you can type in any command you want, as well as select elements or the world in front of you to apply the commands to.

Note that some commands will disable achievements for that save file, so be careful if that’s something you care about.
