Creative Assembly has released official artwork for all Chaos Dwarf units, giving us a good idea about what fearsome machinery and troops we’ll be able to field as the new faction.

The DLC’s release on April 13, 2023, brings around update 3.0 for the strategy game as well, which in turn has a free legendary heroine in tow: Ulrika Magdova Straghov.

Her inclusion has fans very excited, as she’s been a favorite of many readers of the Gotrek and Felix novels. She’s a bit of a novelty for Total War: Warhammer 3 as well, as she’s going to be the first vampire character siding with the order-aligned factions, being available for both Kislev and the Empire.

Creative Assembly has released some details on Ulrika Magdova, giving us a glimpse of her prowess, and we’ll explain how to claim her for free once update 3.0 rolls out.

Total War: Warhammer 3 – Ulrika Magdova skills

Ulrika will be a legendary hero character recruitable by both Kislev and the Empire. She rides a warhorse and is a hybrid character armed with both sword and bow to fight in melee and ranged combat. In addition, she’s adept at using magic to enhance her attacks and heal herself in battle. She has access to spells from the Lore of Shadows.

Ulrika has the following unique abilities:

  • Silver Dagger
  • Blood Shard
  • The Dancing Blade
  • Skjalandir’s Fall

Ulrika has the following skills:

  • Loyalty to the Motherland
  • Bloodforged
  • Bloodborn
  • Vampireslayer
  • Beastslayer
  • Dragonslayer
  • Blight of the Skaven

Her official description by Creative Assembly states:

“Introducing Ulrika Magdova, a new playable Legendary Hero for Kislev and The Empire. Already a skilled horsewoman and swordfighter from a young age, she was turned into a vampire against her will by lord Adolphus Krieger, a vampire himself. Proficient in melee combat, deadly at range, and skilled as a spellcaster, Ulrika is the best of both worlds, taking traits from the Vampire Counts and Kislev!

Whether it's magic-aided weaponry to enhance defenses or her transformative healing powers, Ulrika will protect her kin and allies at all costs.”
