The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, one of the most celebrated and beloved games of the last console generation, is now making its debut on the newest consoles and is getting a PC update with a few key features.

Like the sound of ray tracing? Upgraded textures? Nice lighting? Fields full of foliage? Of course you do, and that’s what The Witcher 3’s next-gen update is hoping to bring to everyone, and best of all it’s totally free.

PS5 release times: The Witcher 3 next-gen update

If you’re playing The Witcher 3’s new update on PS5, this is for you. PS5 gets a slightly different launch time when compared to other regions – it’s midnight local time.

No matter where you are, you can start playing The Witcher 3 as soon as it hits 12am, December 14, 2022.

If you’re on Xbox or PC, you’ll have a slightly different launch schedule.

Xbox and PC release times: The Witcher 3 next-gen update

The Xbox Series consoles and PC get a slightly different release time to the PS5 version, and if you want to start playing the new update on those consoles, you’ll have to ensure to download the update so you can start playing at the following times in your time zone.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt brings fluid 60fps visuals to consoles for the first time, and also gives us all the option of playing at a lower framerate with ray tracing features. However you like to play, this week is going to be an excellent time for hardcore RPG fans.
