Once you managed to reach Gerudo Town in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll realise just how bad things are there. The town has fallen into disrepair, primarily because of the Sand Shroud encircling the town. It has blocked off any trade or tourism, and has forced the civilians to take cover in a shelter underneath the town. Needless to say, things are looking bad.

A voe won’t be let into the shelter ordinarily, so Link has to find an alternate way inside. If you explore Gerudo Town you’ll be able to find multiple different entries, and in this guide we’re going to outline two of them for you to use. Just read below for everything you need to get inside the Gerudo Shelter in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How to get inside the Gerudo Shelter – Zelda TOTK

There are multiple entrances to the Gerudo Shelter, and the easiest way is to get into the underground waterways of Gerudo Town. Again, there are multiple ways to get down here, but the easiest is by jumping into one of the water wells around the town. These would usually have water from the flat rooftops of the town trickle down from them.

Once down there you’ll see messages in bottles floating in the water. These are being dropped down by a lovesick Gerudo inside the shelter. Follow the messages to their source, near where the bucket is hanging down a hole, and then use Ascend.

This is the easiest way to get inside Gerudo Shelter, but you can also remove the Sand Seal bust from a hole behind Riju’s throne.

Next you'll have to find the Red Pillars before getting to the Lightning Temple.
