Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Hateno Village location
Hateno Village, once a sleepy little farming town in Breath of the Wild, has transformed into a bustling fashion hub in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. As such, there’s plenty to see and do in the town, including a whole election questline to decide a new mayor, a bunch of smaller quests, and some valuable clothing and accessories that will be a big help in your adventure through Hyrule.
Hateno Village is also home to Robbie’s research lab, and once you’ve completed the Camera Work in the Depths quest, you’ll be able to visit Robbie to upgrade your Purah Pad and unlock new items and abilities. It also houses an NPC capable of restoring unique items after they’ve broken or been lost, such as the Hylian Shield and clothing items.
This guide will tell you everything you need to know about Hateno Village's location and the best way to get there.

Hateno Village location - Zelda TOTK
Hateno Village is located in the far south-east of Hyrule, at the base of Mount Lanaryu. There are a number of ways to get to Hateno, depending on the route you’d like to take, but from the starting point on the surface, Lookout Landing, it’s quite a trek.
Travel to the south-east from Lookout Landing, aiming for West Necluda’s major waypoint, the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower. It should be easy to spot once you’ve traveled a little bit away from Lookout Landing, as long as you’re facing south-east.
Immediately to the east of Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower is Kakariko Village, which is a useful location to pick up and also packed with quests. It’s not the village for us, though, so keep moving south, where you might want to head to East Necula’s waypoint, the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower. This isn’t strictly necessary, but it’s much easier to navigate from here to Hateno.
From the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower, you’ll then want to head north-east, up through the Firly Plateau and through Midia and Ginner Woods. From there, the entrance to Hateno Village is east, and you’ll be able to get on with everything the town has to offer.
For those keen on the exact coordinates, the entry gate to Hateno Village is at the following coordinates: 3279, -2141, 0101.
