Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Honey, Bee Mine quest guide
Contents
If you want to upgrade your armor in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, then you will inevitably have to reassemble the troupe of musicians known as the Stable Trotters. Each Stable Trotter musician can help you open up one of the four Great Fairy bulbs across Hyrule, and when all four are open they’ll be able to upgrade your armor to its fullest potential.
It might sound too good to be true, but that’s because it requires a great deal of work. The Stable Trotters have split up, and in this guide we’re finding the final Stable Trotter, the drum player. In this guide we’re breaking down how to find the drummer, Beetz, and solve his quest Honey, Bee Mine, in addition to pointing out the Courser Bee Honey locations you need.
Make sure to check our full list of Great Fairy locations to make these quests easier.

How to find the Stable Trotters Drum player – Zelda TOTK
Beetz is hidden away just South of Bonooru’s Stand. If you take the North road from Dueling Peaks Stable – which you can find with our all Stable locations guide – you should hear drums as you enter the passage between the Pillars of Levia and Bonooru’s Stand. Beetz is off the path to the right, through a passage between some stones.
Alternatively, you can take the East exit out of Kakariko town and follow the path South, where you will find Beetz on the left before you meet the river.

Beetz wants to make some honey crepes, and for the attempt he needs three loads of Courser Bee Honey from the bees near Kakariko. He doesn’t give you much more information than that, and they can be tough to find. Read our Courser Bee Honey location explainer below for more on that.
Once you return to Beetz with the honey he will happily rejoin the Stable Trotters at Dueling Peaks Stable.
Courser Bee Honey location – Zelda TOTK
Courser Honey is tough to find, but in general you should look Northeast of Kakariko Town, near the chasm that appear on the hill. Yes, it’s called East Hill Chasm. The best names are the most simple.
You should be able to see beehives in the trees.
You can knock them down with a bow and then simply swipe at the bees until they leave you alone.
