If you head out west from Lookout Landing once you’ve completed the intro sequence in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the Ishodag Shrine is one of the first you’ll likely come across, which is good because it teaches you all about the Zonai fan. This item is useful in loads of different devices, so it’s important to get used to it.

We’ll explain everything in this full Ishodag Shrine walkthrough, A Windy Device, so you can solve it easily.

With just a ledge and a fan, lay the fan on the floor, facing up. Turn it on, jump and glide over the fan to get pushed up into the air.

Next, place the wooden plank in the water and attach the fan to it, facing away from the other side of the lake, and activate the fan to sail along.

Now, take one of the two fans on the land and attach it to the see-saw on the opposite side of the chest. Turn it on to make the chest level out and leave it for the time being.

Grab the other fan on the ground and the fan you used on the raft and attach them both to the bottom of the lift. Activate them (you can hit them while standing on top of the lift) and they’ll push you up the platform – you need at least two fans to lift you.

If you want the chest, just turn right and drop down onto the platform which you leveled out earlier.

Then shoot the fans on the lift with an arrow (or throw something) so they drop back down.

Use the lift to go up once again and claim your reward.
