Dungeons are back in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, bringing with it the classic Zelda formula. They are once again based around the four main races from Breath of the Wild: Zora, Rito, Gerudo, and Goron. The Wind Temple quest, which starts in Rito Village, is probably the easiest to start with, but if you fancy trying something else, check out our guide on the best dungeon order.

Before you get started on the temple, you first have to find Rito Village, and of course without the Skyview Tower, you won’t see it on your map. Luckily, it’s not hard to get to if you have captured and registered a horse, or transferred one from Breath of the Wild.

Here’s how to find the Rito Village in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Rito Village Location – Zelda TotK

The Rito Village can be found at the center of Lake Totori in Hebra. From Lookout Landing it is to the northeast, and you can access it by using the fire to get over the broken bridge from the Lucky Clover Gazette. You will have to pass through Hyrule Field and Hyrule Ridge in order to get there.

Luckily, you can ride a horse almost the entire way there simply by following the road. You will pass New Serenne Stable and Tabantha Bridge Stable along the way, giving you two chances to catch a ride. The enemies in these areas aren’t too tough, but you will need at least one level of cold resistance once you get to the village. You can get this from the clothes found on Great Sky Island, or by cooking up some Spicy Peppers. If you missed the clothes in the tutorial area you can purchase more inside the village.

If you have left Rito Village for any reason, such as going to unlock Hebra’s Skyview Tower, then you can always fast-travel back. As long as you have activated Gatakis Shrine just outside of the village, it is easy to warp back to from the map.

After you fast-travel to Gatakis Shrine, you can also use Ascend in the small recess in the rock opposite the shrine's entrance to get inside Rito Village quickly. There's also a Korok seed hiding there.
