Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Ukouh Shrine guide
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has more than one hundred unique shrines for you to complete, but some of them are a bit more challenging than others. Few are more complicated than the ones you get when mechanics are still unclear, and that’s why we’re explaining how to complete the Ukouh Shrine, The Ability to Create.
This shrine acts as a tutorial for the Ultrahand ability, but it’s a tough one to get your head around. If you’re struggling with the shrine, just read through this guide for everything you need to know – and we have a few more tips you might need in our Ultrahand ability guide.

Ukouh Shrine guide – Zelda TOTK
This shrine is all about the use of the Ultrahand to manipulate objects in 3D space. First, pick up the stone slab to your right, and lift it by tilting the right stick up. Then place it across the gap to make a simple bridge. Remember, you can hold R and use the D-pad to rotate objects.
The next gap is the concept, but bigger. Attach the first stone slab to the second here to make an even longer bridge. Boom, simple.
The final one is a tiny bit trickier. There’s a large square wooden panel lay against the wall. First, place this flat on the floor. Next, take the hook that’s on the floor – not the one attached to the chain.
Rotate it to stand it on the wooden plank and attach it. Once attached, use Ultrahand to hook the whole thing onto the rail, and then quickly hop on to be taken to the end of the shrine.
This is a simple one, but it’s tricky thanks to Ultrahand’s somewhat awkward controls. For more early game tips, make sure to check our Great Sky Island tutorial guide.
