How to find Zonai Devices – Zelda TOTK
The best way to stock up on Zonai Capsules which contain a variety of devices is to use Zonai Device Dispensers. These look like Japanese gachapon dispensers, which offer a variety of small toys.
It’s the same concept, only these toys are often single-use weapons or make-shift vehicles, if you use them correctly.
Throw a handful of Zonai Charges inside and out will shoot a bunch of capsules for you to collect and use when the time is right.
The Zonai Dispensers will be marked on your map after you find them, and hovering over a Zonai Dispensers on the map will show you what items it offers. Handy.
All Zonai Devices in Tears of the Kingdom
Fan – Zelda TOTK
One of the most reliable items in the whole game. You can use it to propel vehicles, or just to catch some air while Paragliding.
Wing – Zelda TOTK
This glides through the sky, as long as it can get enough lift off the ground. A rocket or a cart with a few fans should work.
Cart – Zelda TOTK
It has wheels and you can place things on it. Great.
Balloon – Zelda TOTK
If you insert a fire source under the balloon, it’ll take off into the air, along with anything it’s carrying.
Rocket – Zelda TOTK
This won’t last long, but can shoot you, or a vehicle, into the air easily. Attach it to your shield for a huge jump.
Time Bomb – Zelda TOTK
Once activated it’ll explode after a few seconds, activating any other Zonai Devices nearby.
Portable Pot – Zelda TOTK
Good for cooking one meal in an emergency.
Flame Emitter – Zelda TOTK
It’s a flamethrower.
Frost Emitter – Zelda TOTK
It’s a… frost-thrower?
Shock Emitter – Zelda TOTK
Jab enemies with this bolt and they’ll get electrocuted.
Beam Emitter – Zelda TOTK
It shoots a beam for hitting opponents at range.
Hydrant – Zelda TOTK
A non-stop water source, perfect for arid environments.
Steering Stick – Zelda TOTK
Attach this to a vehicle to get some actual control over where it goes.
Big Wheel – Zelda TOTK
It’s a bit wheel. The axel in the middle is actually quite flexible, great for off-roading. Items can also be attach to the wheel itself to make them spin around – spinning flamethrower? Sure!
Small Wheel – Zelda TOTK
It’s a wheel. For vehicles. It’s decent.
Sled – Zelda TOTK
With some propulsion, this can be used as a vehicle on grassy, sandy, or snowy plains. Useless on rocky terrain.
Battery – Zelda TOTK
Attach to a Zonai creation to give it more power. Multiple can be used at once.
Big Battery – Zelda TOTK
Even more power!
Spring – Zelda TOTK
Activate to spring into the air. Activate again to reload the spring.
Cannon – Zelda TOTK
It’s a cannon that shoots explosives at regular intervals.
Stabilizer – Zelda TOTK
Anything attached to the top of this stabilizer will always stand upright. Anything.
Hover Stone – Zelda TOTK
Once activated and powered, this stone will just hover in the air for as long as your energy lasts.
Light – Zelda TOTK
A light for when you’re undertaking the extreme darkness.
Stake – Zelda TOTK
The sharp end of the stake can be inserted into any surface, essentially allowing you to attach anything to anything.
Mirror – Zelda TOTK
Reflects strong beams of light – only useful in select scenarios.
Homing Cart – Zelda TOTK
Attach a weapon to the top of this Homing Cart and it’ll charge at any nearby enemies.
Construct Head – Zelda TOTK
You can’t aim any weapons attached to a vehicle, but the Construct Head will aim any weapon attached to its head for you. Nice.
