As well as showing off 15 minutes of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, tonight's State of Play showcase had a heavy focus on VR games for PS5's new headset.

The first game shown off was The Foglands, a Western-themed game filled with monsters, dynamite, revolvers, and dark caves. You can throw a wrench at an enemy and catch it when it bounces off, which is rad. Coming in 2023.

Next up is Green Hell, a survival game with crafting and plenty of predators to fend off. That's been out on Steam and mobile for a while and has found a decent-sized audience.

Then we've got Synapse, from the creator of Fracked. It's a high-intensity cover shooter that plays at surprisingly high speed for VR and kits you out with a range of telekinetic powers. This is one to keep an eye on.

After that, we're shown a sci-fi adventure game called Journey to Foundation, a game filled with climbing, stealth, and more, based on the books by Isaac Asimov.

An indie game about blinking comes up next. In Before Your Eyes, your life flips forward every time you blink, giving us a taste of how quickly your life can be over if you take your eyes off the ball. It's been out on other platforms, but it's a unique concept that could only work in VR.

You can watch those games at the start of the State of Play stream below.

PSVR 2 costs $549.99 in the US, and you can buy it now. Unlike the original headset for PS4, you don't need to purchase a camera or any extra peripherals to use it.
