Great news for lovers of immersive sims and, more overall, for those of good gaming. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is available for free starting on March 14, 2024, in a last-minute surprise at the hands of Epic Games.

If you’re keeping your eyes and ears open for good video game deals, then you’ll certainly have the weekly giveaways of free games on Epic Games Store on your radar. This week’s offering was supposed to be The Bridge, a solid physics-based 2D puzzler, but in a surprise switch-up Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was swapped in to replace the title just hours before the giveaway.

Hailed as one of the best immersive sims of all time, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a particularly strong offering and definitely a cut above the usual titles given out by Epic to promote its store.

How to get Deus Ex: Mankind Divided for free

Thanks to this welcome change, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will become free to claim and keep on Epic Games Store between March 14 and 21, 2024, starting and ending at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 4pm GMT / 5pm CET respectively.

To add Deus Ex: Mankind Divided to your library on PC for free, visit the Epic Games Store. If you’re reading before the immersive sim comes online, make sure to grab its predecessor as Epic’s free offering, the charming Astro Duel 2, as well.

“Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a cyberpunk action-RPG where your choices have lasting consequences. You play as Adam Jensen, an augmented covert operative intent on taking down the Illuminati, a shadowy group conspiring for control over humanity’s future,” the official store page describes the title.

Once Deus Ex is available, Epic Games will immediately reveal next week’s free game as well, so be sure to keep your eyes open and don’t miss it.

Mankind Divided is your best chance to experience the iconic franchise, as the latest project in the setting has been canceled earlier this year.
