Update (January 24, 2024): It looks like the EA FC 24 TOTY 12th Man and Woman winners are already decided, as they have been leaked on the internet by very reliable sources. You can find them in the link above, in case you don't mind potentially getting spoiled.

Original (January 19, 2024): Everyone deserves a second chance in life and it seems like EA Sports continues to subscribe to this philosophy: EA FC 24 will keep the tradition of the 12th Man vote for its Team of the Year promo, TOTY for short.

It’s a simple idea: EA chooses three players that have barely missed out on making it through the initial TOTY vote, failing to win a spot in the prestigious TOTY squad, and puts them into another public vote for the 12th Man position. While not officially part of the top team, they still gain an upgraded TOTY item, making them an attractive commodity for players of the game.

EA FC 24 TOTY 12th Man: start date and how to vote

You are now able to cast your vote for the EA FC 24 TOTY 12th Man and Woman.

All you need to do to vote is log into Ultimate Team and then open the TOTY 12th Man Player Pick item gifted to you by EA after the voting has opened. Select one of the three candidates, confirm your choice, and that’s it. It’s up to you to decide whether to give your vote to the more deserving candidate or merely to the one you think would best fit into your squad from a meta perspective.

EA FC 24 TOTY 12th Man: candidates

Three candidates have barely missed out on making it into the full EA FC 24 TOTY squad and are now fighting for the 12th Man position, which guarantees them an upgraded card at least. The following trio will be considered:

  • Federico Valverde – Real Madrid
  • Cristiano Ronaldo – Al Nassr
  • Trent Alexander-Arnold – Liverpool FC

This selection has proven quite controversial, given that Ronaldo is merely playing in Saudi Arabia and the level of competition there is laughable compared to Europe. However, his past achievements have built him a steadfast fanbase that is likely to vote for him in droves, making this an uphill battle for Valverde and Alexander-Arnold.

Here are your three candidates for the 12th Woman:

  • Alexandra Popp – VfL Wolfsburg
  • Estefanía Banini – Atlético Madrid
  • Olga Carmona – Real Madrid
