EA Sports announced that F1 24 will be released on May 31, 2024, confirming previous reports. This puts the launch date between the Grands Prix in Monaco and Canada, allowing fans to get behind the wheel without missing any of the real life action on track – quite considerate.

F1 24 will come to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It will feature a Career Mode that’s been “overhauled” and a new dynamic handling system. EA Sports wants to reveal a full look at the game “in the coming months.”

You can check out the first F1 24 trailer below:

As usual, F1 24 will be available in a Standard Edition as well as a Champions Edition and there will be several pre-order bonuses for both versions. We’ll break that down for you below.

Pre-ordering the Standard Edition nets players 5,000 Pitcoin (an in-game currency used to buy cosmetic items) and a F1 World Starter Pack containing some resources. In addition, anyone who pre-orders the game and owns F1 23 gets access to a selection of cars from the F1 2024 Season for some Time Trial Challenges. Alpine, Haas, McLaren, and Williams will be available under this reward scheme.

The Champions Edition comes with three days of early access starting on May 28, 2024, on top of two new F1 Icons, 18,000 Pitcoin, and a F1 World Bumper Pack with in-game resources.

Those who pre-order the Champions Edition also gain access to the VIP Podium Pass, the paid version of the game’s battle pass, in addition to the special Time Trial Challenges with F1 2024 Season cars described above.

Owners of F1 2021, F1 22, or F1 23 can take advantage of a 15% loyalty discount on the F1 24 Champions Edition for a limited time. Alongside this price reduction returning customers get the 2023 McLaren and Alpine esports liveries as a bonus in both F1 23 and F1 24.
