We’ve known for a while that Chapter 5 would be starting on December 3, 2023, and that means that December 2 is when we’ll see the grand end to Chapter 4 in what will be the biggest-ever live event in Fortnite Battle Royale.

As listed in our Fortnite 27.11 patch notes, an Eminem skin has been revealed, and prominent Twitter leaker Shiina has stated that the world-famous rapper will play some part in the event. It was further revealed by another leaker, Hypex, that the event will be called “BIG BANG”, and will feature not only Eminem, but a collaboration with LEGO as well.

Exactly details are being kept scarce, but Hypex also claims the event will involve Rhythm Mode as well as Racing Mode, potentially hinting about it being an event that spans multiple disciplines – even hinting at what Chapter 5 Season 1’s focus might be.

What we do know is that it is going to be the biggest live event in Fortnite history, with the files for the event sitting at 1.5GB, larger than the files for any other live event to date. Previous finale events have seen rifts appear all over the island before the whole thing was sucked into a black hole, or tasked players with restoring all the shattered pieces of the broken island.

These events are always a blast to play, and it seems a huge one is planned to cap off Fortnite Chapter 4 on December 2, 2023.
