HoYoverse is gifting every Genshin Impact player the sum of 800 Primogems to celebrate the game’s victory at the PlayStation Partner Awards 2023 for Japan and Asia. Genshin Impact is one of three games taking home the Grand Award for the top three titles developed in Asia that had the highest worldwide sales in the period between October 2022 and September 2023.

Final Fantasy 16 and Resident Evil 4 Remake are the other two games making up the podium.

Genshin Impact players can expect their 800 Primogems to arrive in four daily rates of 200 via in-game messages between December 2 and 5, 2023. All you need to do is open the mail and claim the attached rewards. These messages will delete themselves after 30 days, so do make sure to claim your Primogems before that happens. The only requirement is that you’ve reached Adventure Rank 7.

Players of Honkai: Star Rail are currently being rewarded with 800 Stellar Jade, the space title’s equivalent of Primogems, for its victories at the Google Play and App Store Awards 2023. Just like in Genshin Impact, this celebratory cash injection arrives via in-game mail, where you need to claim the items.

Primogems and Stellar Jade are the most important currencies in their respective titles, as they allow players to purchase tickets for the gacha systems. These, in turn, unlock additional characters and weapons.

Other games recognized at the PlayStation Partner Awards 2023 for Japan and Asia were Armored Core 6, Final Fantasy 7 Reunion, Elden Ring, eFootball 2023, Sonic Frontiers, Street Fighter 6, and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, which all received the Partner Award for strong sales and noteworthy activity.

Hogwarts Legacy, Resident Evil Village and Street Fighter 6 got a Special Award for noteworthy activity.

Both Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail have been nominated in categories at The Game Awards 2023 and made into the second round of the Players’ Voice voting.
