Honkai: Star Rail 1.1 pre-load has begun ahead of launch /

It’s officially patch week in Honkai: Star Rail with update 1.1 being released on June 7, 2023. The new game version will expand the roster of playable characters with the banners for Silver Wolf, Luocha, and Yukong, all three of which are familiar to players due to their appearances in the story. Additional Light Cones are making their way into the game as well, one which will be free to obtain through an event – Before the Tutorial Mission Starts is going to be perfect for all those who want to pull for Silver Wolf, but can’t get her signature 5-Star Light Cone, Incessant Rain, as well.

Update 1.1 for Honkai: Star Rail can now be pre-loaded on PC, iOS, and Android. On PC, you’ll have to click on “Game Pre-Installation” next to the “Start Game” button to begin the download. Mobile players will have to launch the game and tap the “Pre-download resources package” button that appears on the bottom left corner of the login screen to start downloading early.

Pre-loading the update will shorten the time you need before you can begin your adventures in update 1.1, but you’ll still need to wait until server maintenance finishes on patch day.

Server maintenance is scheduled to last for five hours, after which Honkai: Star Rail update 1.1 will be playable. Make sure to check your in-game messages after logging in, because there will be a little gift of 300 Stellar Jade waiting to be claimed – the usual compensation HoYoverse is offering for the inconvenience caused by the server downtime.

You can expect a new Honkai: Star Rail promo code to be released for this game version as well, bringing you even more free Stellar Jade. You might still want to try that Silver Wolf pull ritual just in case.
