A new Myriad Celestia Trailer for Honkai: Star Rail has graced us with its presence ahead of the mobile game’s version 2.0 release in a few weeks and as always with these anime-style videos HoYoverse greatly expanded the lore and character pool of the game. “A Night of Ever-Flame: Scene 33” revolves around the Ever-Flame Mansion, a group we briefly came in contact with in version 1.6 – they were the ones behind the recent chaos on Herta Space Station we helped Asta, Dr. Ratio, and Screwllum clean up.

“A Night of Ever-Flame: Scene 33” introduced the other members of this group and gave us some insight into its next plans – it looks like we’ll see them again very soon in Penacony.

Honkai: Star Rail – Ever-Flame Mansion explained

The Ever-Flame Mansion is a group following Nanook, the Aeon of The Destruction.

However, unlike the Antimatter Legion, the Ever-Flame Mansion has not drawn Nanook’s gaze as of yet, which basically means that they haven’t been recognized by the Aeon as the real deal yet – if you want to break it down more, they’re a group going around causing chaos and destruction all in the name of “please notice me, Nanook-senpai.”

Another known fact is that the Ever-Flame Mansion is a rival of the Jepella Brotherhood, a fellow “unsanctioned” group following The Destruction under the common banner of the Annihilation Gang. We got a glimpse of those guys in a previous Myriad Celestia Trailer, which showed the Stellaron Hunters deal a critical blow to the group on its home world.

Honkai: Star Rail – all Ever-Flame Mansion characters

Duke Inferno – voiced by Bob Johnson

HoYoverse

We already got a taste of his flame-powered abilities on Herta Space Station. He’s the boss of the Annihilation Gang’s Ever-Flame Mansion and seems hellbent on destroying the followers of Aeons other than Nanook. During the trailer, he’s ordering his Children of Flame to infiltrate the celebrations on Penacony and go after members of certain Paths – which might mean that they are targeting certain characters invited to the world.

Akash alias The Tuner – voiced by Talon Warburton

HoYoverse

Akash is wielding a string instrument as his weapon, which is presumably how he got his nickname of The Tuner.

Duke Inferno told him to go after The Harmony, so characters like Robin or Sunday may be his target.

Dubra alias The Scribe – voiced by Kayli Mills

HoYoverse

Dubra probably refers to the demon-like entity of shadow and flame. It looks like it's possessing the body of a little girl and uses it as a puppet, as symbolized in the trailer by the apple that looks pristine from the outside, but has a skeleton and purple flames on the inside. Duke Inferno said that he taught Dubra “mastery of the blade,” which may point towards her combat style.

Dubra is commanded to go after The Elation, making Sparkle her likeliest opponent.

Caterina alias The Shacklebound – voiced by Arianna Ratner

HoYoverse

Caterina is the passionate looking lady with the flail-like chain weapon. Inferno talks about granting her “blood of fire” and orders her to shatter The Preservation.

Aventurine will be the highest-ranked member of the IPC on Penacony, so he’s probably who she’ll go after.

Constance alias The Dahlia – voiced by Jennifer Losi

HoYoverse

Constance is apparently Duke Inferno’s best and most ambitious apprentice as he says that he has nothing more to teach her. Her order is to go after The Remembrance.

The Remembrance will be represented by Black Swan on Penacony, likely pitting these two against each other.

Looks like we can expect the festivities on Penacony to be even hotter than anticipated – in several ways.
