HoYoverse is continuing to release details about version 1.3 of Honkai: Star Rail, which is going to come out later in 2023: After the reveal of Imbibitor Lunae, the 5-Star form of Dan Heng, in posts on social media yesterday, the company’s channels showed off yet another 5-Star character joining the RPG’s playable roster in the future. We’ve already met Fu Xuan, the head of the Xianzhou Luofu’s Divination Commission, during the main story and will be able to add her to our teams relatively soon.

Fu Xuan is a follower of the Path of The Preservation and deals Quantum Damage, so she’ll most likely be a defensive support character with the mission to sustain your team during a fight. She'll be the fourth Quantum Damage unit after Seele, Qingque, and Silver Wolf.

This is her official description:

“The head of the Xianzhou Luofu's Divination Commission. A confident and blunt sage. Using her third eye and the Matrix of Prescience, Fu Xuan calculates the Xianzhou's route and predicts the fortune of future events. She firmly believes that everything she does is the ‘best solution’ for the situation. Fu Xuan is waiting for the general's promised ‘abdication.’ However, that day still seems... very far away.”

Sarah Wiedenheft has been confirmed as her voice actress for the English version of the game.

Fu Xuan joins Imbibitor Lunae as version 1.3’s second 5-Star character, which leaves one 4-Star character for the update to be revealed, if it follows the traditional pattern of coming with a trio of fresh units.

In any case, update 1.2 with upcoming characters Kafka, Blade, and Luka as well as a free Yukong is on the agenda first and will be released in July 2023. We’ll learn more about that patch during a livestream scheduled for the coming weekend.
